Due to an unexpectedly high registration load, and in order to guarantee a high quality event, we were forced to limit the number of participants. Currently all spots are filled, however we are keeping a waiting list in order to admit more participants in case someone decides not to attend anymore. If you are interested in entering the waiting list, please send us an email. The waiting list follows a first-come-first-served policy, and you will be notified if a spot frees up.
Since the early bird stage has expired on April 30, 2019, the attendance price is now 400€ for student participants and 600€ for non-student participants.
You will need a credit card in order to purchase a ticket.
Payments via direct bank transfer can be arranged upon request. If you decide to choose this option, please drop us a line at our e-mail address.
Affordable tickets are available for student participants. The student status will be verified by valid student id.
The "with hostel accommodation" registration option includes accommodation from Sunday, June 30 until Friday, July 5 (5 nights). We have pre-booked rooms at the Youth Hostel Myrthengasse, which is a 5-minuted walk from the summer school venue. Participants who book the accommodation option will stay in shared rooms (grouped by gender) with air conditioning. A breakfast buffet is also included. The hostel is a basic accommodation option, but probably one of the cheapest. Note that we only have a limited contingent of beds at the hostel.
The summer school is during the main tourist season in Vienna, so accommodation can get very expensive. If you plan to organise your own accommodation, then we recommend to do that as soon as possible!
Cancellation of Registration: Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to acpsummer2019@gmail.com. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until the early registration date, up to which date the total amount will be refunded minus 30€ for cancellation fee. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after the early registration date, nor for no-shows for any reasons.
Change of Name (for already registered participants): If you have already registered but are unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact
Force Majeure: The organisers are not liable for any claims for damages and/or losses if the entire conference has to be cancelled due to a force majeure incident.
Disclaimer: The organisers are not liable for damages and/or losses of any kind which may be incurred by the summer school delegates or by any other individuals accompanying them, both during the official activities as well as going to/from the summer school. Delegates are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
Insurance and Vaccinations: The registration fee does not cover insurance for the delegates. The organisers recommend that delegates take out insurance in their home country to cover pre-journey cancellation for personal reasons and necessary insurance to cover accidents, medical expenses and loss of personal belongings during the visit. No vaccinations are needed when visiting Austria.
The registration cost includes teaching materials, lunches, coffee breaks, and organized social events.
